Erin Fleming

Erin has trained extensively with Sarah Powers, Paul Grilley and Erich Schiffmann and is a certified 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT) with the Yoga Alliance. In addition, while living in England for three years, she was certified by the British Wheel of Yoga, an extensive Yoga teacher training program recognized by the British government. In 2012, Erin was double certified as an instructor of the MELT Method, a specialized connective tissue release protocol which promotes healing and eliminates pain.

Erin also teaches Beginning Yoga, vigorous Vinyasa Flow classes for more seasoned practitioners and an all levels mindful movement class she created called Qigong Yoga Flow. By infusing her classes with warmth, humor and extensive yoga and movement experience, Erin taps into the vast richness of yoga in a way that surpasses the simple physical practice of asana.

Erin’s specialty is Yin Yoga, a profound practice that emphasizes long-held but passive poses which enhance flexibility in the joints and instill lightness and grace in the body. Her audio cd, “Yin Yoga: The Essential Practice” won rave reviews from Yoga Journal and Alternative Medicine Magazine.

Through her yoga company, Yogadeva International, Erin has led teacher trainings, retreats and workshops in England, North Wales, Spain, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba, France, Italy, Hawaii, Monaco, Greece, India, Bali, Thailand and Singapore. When back home in Marin County, California, Erin teaches private yoga sessions, classes, workshops and trainings for Bay Club Marin and created the yoga program for the employees at Lucas Films that has been thriving since 2004.

Erin’s upcoming classes can be found on her calendar and to learn more about the types of yoga she teaches you may visit her yoga styles page.
